1. For eJOY App 1:
When saving words on the extension, these words will be automatically synchronized to eJOY App 1 after a certain period. However, if you want to see them immediately, press the sync button on both the extension and the app.
How to sync on the extension:
Step 1: Select the eJOY icon pinned in Chrome.
Step 2: Choose the last tab - Account Management.
Step 3: Click the Sync button.
How to Sync on eJOY App 1:
Step 1: Select the "More" tab.
Step 2: Press the "Sync now" button.
2. For eJOY app 2
Saving words on the eJOY extension can still be accessed on eJOY App 2 through the wordbook transfer feature. However, please note the following:
- When you convert a wordbook, it's like moving that wordbook to a new home, and this wordbook transfer process can only be done once. So, if you continue to save words into that wordbook afterward, you won't be able to convert it again. Therefore, once you decide to transfer, avoid saving new words into that wordbook and create a new one for your future word-saving needs.
- After transferring a wordbook to the eJOY 2 system, you can still review vocabulary on EPiC web instead of the extension.
- Make sure both the app and extension you are using are the latest updates available from the eJOY store.
How to Transfer a Wordbook:
Step 1: Open the link https://ejoy-english.com/app/ne.
Step 2: Log in.
Step 3: In the eJOY Extension, open the Wordbook and add the phrase "?converting_mode=open" to the link as shown in the image below.
Click the "Converting mode" button.
click the "Convert to eJOY 2" button in the wordbook that you wishes to convert.
